Available Thicknesses

Glass backsplashes need to sit neatly flush against your wall while remaining highly durable. We offer a full range of thicknesses tailored specifically for wall installations.

Glass Thickness Options

1/8″ Thick

A thin, highly cost-effective profile. Best suited for small bathroom sink splashguards or low-traffic decorative areas.

1/4″ Thick

The industry standard for backsplashes. Offers the perfect balance of lightweight installation and excellent wall protection.

3/8″ Thick

A heavier, premium choice. Provides a deeper, more substantial architectural look for luxury kitchen renovations.

1/2″ Thick

Maximum thickness. Usually reserved for large commercial restaurant kitchens or standalone, heavy-duty protective walls.

Available Glass Edges

Flat Polished Edge

Flat Polished Edge

The undisputed standard for glass backsplashes. This smooth, machine-polished edge allows multiple glass panels to sit flush side-by-side with a virtually invisible, hairline silicone seam.

Beveled Edge

Beveled Edge

A decorative angled cut. While less common for full-wall coverage, a beveled edge acts like a built-in frame, making it a beautiful choice for standalone splashguards behind a sink or stove.

Extra Options & Customizations

Kitchen walls are complex. We provide precision drilled holes and cutouts so your glass backsplash perfectly accommodates your existing outlets and range hoods.

Custom Backsplash Cutouts

Precision CNC Fabrication

Important Note: Because a stove backsplash requires tempered safety glass, it cannot be cut or drilled on-site. All electrical outlet cutouts must be mapped out and requested beforehand.

✓ Outlet Cutouts

Precision interior cutouts designed specifically so your kitchen wall outlets and light switches sit perfectly flush with the glass.

✓ Edge Notching

Custom notching to allow the glass to seamlessly wrap around window sills, complex cabinetry edges, or range hoods.

✓ Hardware Holes

Drilled openings to easily pass through cables, install under-cabinet lighting wires, or attach hanging utensil racks.

How To Measure For A Backsplash

Kitchen countertops and upper cabinets are rarely perfectly level. Follow these guidelines to ensure your glass drops smoothly into place without forcing it.

How to Measure Glass Backsplash

1

Check Multiple Points

Measure the height between the countertop and the upper cabinets in at least 3 places (left, middle, right). Use the smallest height.

2

Deduct 1/8″ Tolerance

Always subtract 1/8″ from your total height and width. This tiny gap allows the glass to fit easily and provides room for the silicone sealant seam.

3

Map Out Outlets

Measure from the edges of the wall to the exact center of each electrical outlet so we can precision-cut the holes perfectly.

4

Submit in Inches

To ensure a streamlined, error-free manufacturing process across our USA facilities, please submit all final dimensions in standard inches.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will the heat from my stove crack the glass?

Not if you order tempered glass! Standard glass can crack under thermal stress, but tempered safety glass is heat-treated to withstand the high temperatures generated by stovetops and ovens without any issue.

How do you install a glass backsplash?

Installation is remarkably simple. The glass is attached directly to the drywall using neutral-cure mirror mastic or clear silicone adhesive. Once pressed onto the wall, a line of silicone is run along the edges to seal out moisture.

Can I cut the outlet holes myself?

No. Because backsplashes require tempered glass for heat safety, the glass cannot be cut or drilled after it is manufactured. Attempting to drill an outlet hole will cause the entire panel to shatter instantly. We must CNC cut all outlets beforehand.

How do I connect two panels together?

If your wall is longer than a single sheet of glass, the panels are “butt-glazed” together. This means the two flat-polished edges are pushed together, leaving only a tiny 1/16″ gap that is filled with clear silicone for a virtually seamless look.

Is it easier to clean than tile?

Yes, significantly. Tile grout is porous and absorbs cooking grease and tomato sauce, requiring intense scrubbing. Glass is 100% non-porous. A quick spray of glass cleaner and a wipe completely removes all grease and splatters.

What is the turnaround time?

Most custom glass backsplash orders are manufactured, CNC routed, tempered, and shipped within 9–11 business days.

Custom Glass Backsplash: Sleek, Modern, and Easy to Clean

Updating your kitchen doesn’t have to mean dealing with messy grout lines or outdated tile patterns. If you want to achieve a high-end, contemporary look, a custom backsplash made of solid glass is the ultimate design upgrade.

Manufactured to your exact specifications and shipped securely anywhere in the USA, our premium glass panels provide a seamless, highly durable, and stunning focal point for your cooking space.

The Benefits of a Glass Kitchen Backsplash

While traditional tile has been the standard for decades, homeowners and interior designers are increasingly making the switch to solid glass kitchen backsplash panels for several undeniable reasons:

  • Zero Grout to Clean: The biggest complaint about tile is the grout. It stains easily, traps cooking grease, and is notoriously difficult to scrub clean. A solid glass panel is completely non-porous and wiping away spaghetti sauce or cooking oil takes nothing more than a quick swipe with a microfiber cloth and standard glass cleaner.
  • A Brighter Kitchen: Glass naturally reflects light. Installing a glass backsplash behind your countertops will bounce both natural sunlight and your under-cabinet lighting back into the room, making even small kitchens feel significantly larger and brighter.
  • Endless Design Possibilities: Whether you want a crystal-clear panel to protect a beautiful exposed brick wall, a frosted finish, or a back-painted glass to perfectly match your cabinetry, a glass backsplash offers unmatched versatility.

Built for the Heat: The Tempered Glass Backsplash

Safety and durability are crucial in any kitchen, especially the area directly behind your stove. Because this space is exposed to high heat from boiling pots and open burners, standard annealed glass is not suitable.

We highly recommend upgrading to a tempered glass backsplash. Through a specialized rapid heating and cooling process, tempered glass is engineered to be up to five times stronger than standard glass. More importantly, it is highly heat-resistant, ensuring that the intense temperatures from your stovetop will not cause the panel to crack or shatter.

Your Custom Backsplash Cut to Exact Size

Kitchen walls are rarely perfectly square, and you have to account for electrical outlets, range hoods, and cabinetry lines. Buying off-the-shelf sizes simply doesn’t work for a professional-looking installation.

We eliminate the guesswork with our precision American manufacturing. We cut your custom backsplash to your exact millimeter specifications, including all the necessary cutouts for your electrical outlets and light switches.

Ready to modernize your kitchen?

Say goodbye to scrubbing tile grout forever. Input your exact measurements, select your glass type (including highly durable tempered options), and order your custom glass backsplash today. Enjoy premium quality and fast, secure shipping right to your door anywhere in the United States!
